A Visit From Danielle, Delana, Camren and Foxy

We put Camren straight to work brushing Frank with the fancy hand-brush.

and while Camren was hard at work, Danielle and Delana sat on the couch and took pictures of each other. What is up with that?

j/k, j/k, it is late and I am convinced that I am funny. :-)

I had 2 remaining sparklers from Indiana that I was more than happy to share with Camren and Delana.

It was a nice night, we had dinner, talked, and played some games... plus, we were going through Foxy withdrawals. LOL!

You 4 are great!

SPIDER!!! BIG, BIG SPIDER!!!

I was having some trouble sleeping last night so I did what I usually do... I got up to go hunt scorpions and THIS is what I found on the sliding glass door. After taking some pictures and chasing it with Raid I decided to try and find out just what kind of a spider it is. About the only thing I could come up with was a Brown Recluse. I can't say for certain because I didn't inspect it for the following:

Here is a quick test to determine if you may have a Recluse:
1) Has 3 pair of eyes, one in front, one on each side.
2) Has Violin shaped marking
3) Legs must be one uniformly light-colored
4) Only one pigment on the abdomen
5) Fine hairs on legs, no spines
6) Body length is less than half an inch (3/8 usually)

I don't know what it was and it did escape (sigh) - I got in a few good sprays though so hopefully I will find it dead in the morning. I'll keep ya update. :-) Oh, and I did get 2 scorpions bringing our total this year to 48... not to shabby eh'? :-)
