They may LOOK like lady bugs but they are not.
On average... I kill 2 a day.
-----------------------------------------------------
From wikipedia.....
The native Lady Bug has a dark reddish color and sometimes may not have spots, as opposed to the Asian Lady Beetle, which is orange in color, and always has spots.
THE COLOR! NATIVE LADY RED, ASIAN LADY BEETLE ORANGE.
Both are different from the Japanese Beetle, which is a metallic green-brown, and slightly larger than either Lady. It is considered a pest, and devours many plants. It can strip the leaves off a plant (trees, crops, and ornamentals such as roses, etc.) resulting in considerable damage to the plant, even killing them. You can purchase Japanese Beetle Traps which are baited with pheromones and are very effective in drawing them. In infested areas, it is not unusual for each trap to catch a quart of the insects a day in the height of the season.

As you can see.... Frank is REALLY good about having to go potty in the snow. :-)
I am just constantly amazed by and proud of him.
We went to visit Susan today... it was a SUPER DUPER visit yet for some reason, as soon as the camera came out we met with some opposition.
We were playing Guitar Hero 3 (I think... don't quote me on that).
So.... how do you work this thing?
I think I am starting to get the hang of it.
Corwin and Charles...
Alice...
Trust me.... it is a LOT harder than it looks. :-)
They did AWESOME!!!
Polly and Frank got along SOOOO well... I was impressed beyond words.
Here is where I relinqueshed control of the camera over to photographer Alice...
