2009 Feast of the Hunters' Moon

October 10th 2009 at Historic Fort Ouiatenon Park near West Lafayette, Indiana.

The Feast of the Hunters' Moon is a re-creation of the annual fall gathering of the French and Native Americans which took place Fort Ouiatenon, a fur-trading outpost in the mid - 1700s.

It is held annually in early autumn on the banks of the Wabash River, four miles southwest of West Lafayette, Indiana.

Brookston Apple Popcorn Festival

Sept 19, 2009 - Brookston's annual festival takes place the third Saturday in September. This is the time to celebrate the local harvest, rich with apples and popcorn.

I would like to introduce you all to Charlie... he came with the house and lives under the porch.

Yeppers.... he and Frank actually get along.

and along came Smelly Cat.... her front leg was stuck in her collar which made it difficult for her to eat, jump etc. Well... I couldn't just let her die so I cut off the collar and now she won't leave. Oh well, what can you do. :-) She lives under the porch with Charlie.

I ran across a nest of bees burrowed in the round while mowing.

Mike and his dad used some Kerosene to set them on fire.
